Chloe and Halle, our two favorite singers from YouTube, signed with Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment label in 2015. Their EP, "Sugar Symphony", shows just how much they've grown since their YouTube days. Their ethereal voices combined with smooth beats makes this EP a necessity and display a fresh approach to R&B.

Queen Latifah's album "Black Reign" was released in 1993, but remains an everlasting testament of Black Girl Magic. On her single “U.N.I.T.Y.”, the Queen demands that we receive respect from our black men. As one of the
first popular female rappers, Queen Latifah has been a pioneer through her lyrics, which involved feminism and black empowerment.

"My Life", Mary J. Blige's second album, deals with her battles with depression, addiction, and abusive relationships. The album serves as a glimpse into Mary’s life as she conquers some of the toughest things life can throw at you. Through her ups and downs, this album can help you through tough times but help you celebrate the good times as well. ​

"Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1" was Jill Scott’s debut album in 2000. It's a tribute to love and an all-around feel-good album. This album never fails to lift up my mood, and always (regardless of my attitude) seems to speak to my soul. Jilly from Philly always knows exactly what to say to get you out of your bed and dancing like no one’s watching. ​
