The Scoop: Simone Biles is taking the world by storm, one gymnastics championship at a time.

This weekend Biles snagged her second gold medal for "Best-All Around" after competing in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship. According to an article posted by Essence Magazine, "Biles is the sixth woman and second American in history to win back-to-back all-around titles in the World Championship." Biles takes home four medals and in total (in years 2013 & 2014) received nine medals, six of them gold.

In aninterview about her historic win Biles commented, “It actually blows my mind. If I think about it right now, I’m just like, `Whaaaat?’ It’s just like, I don’t know. It’s just really weird, but it’s really cool.”

Simone Blies is the first African-American to win as the world-all around champion.
